The citizens of Arizona are outraged that our attorney general–the highest LAW ENFORCEMENT officer in our state–cheated his way into office; scammed the election system; perverted democracy and thumbed his nose at the sancity of our voting system.

A civil fine is no where near enough to punish him. He should be removed from office. THAT is the change in the law that should be introduced in the next session of the legislature. Don’t forget: Clean Election candidates can be removed from office if they break the rules–and one Republican legislator already has lost his job for cheating. Nothing less should apply to everyone else.

Tom Horne has shamed us all. One can only imagine what shame his family feels at all this.

If financial campaign fraud isn’t enough, there’s this embarrassing incident caught by an FBI tail: Horne and a female coworker went to her home at noon one day and Horne drove away from a fender-bender. What they were doing, we can only guess. Why they both drove their cars into a parking garage and then he drove her car out to the home–him wearing a baseball cap–we can only guess. Why he hit a car and then drove off as if nothing has happened, we can only guess. None of the guesses say anything decent about Tom Horne.

But it sure looks like Horne is not only a cheat, but a pig.
