Terry Goddard hasn’t abandoned his CURRENT job as Attorney General for Arizona while he’s campaigning to become the next GOVERNOR of Arizona–this morning’s paper announces that Goddard has been a leader in getting ALL 50 GOVERNORS to fight back on the home mortgage crisis. He’s demanding accountability from banks that threw people out of their homes with “robosigning” documents–unread, possibly wrong documents signed one after another to “speed up foreclosures.” These are people’s homes we’re talking about.
Goddard has been a leader in fighting for homeowners and mortgage fraud for years and will take that experience into the governor’s office.
But until he gets there, he’s still doing a fine job as Attorney General.
Which leads me to ask, what is the sitting, unelected goveror doing in the meantime? Nothing, that’s what.
Arizona is due for a hard-working, smart, savvy, caring, experienced governor and the only one in this race is Goddard.
