The religious right wing has so kidnapped the Republican Party, and I’ve been waiting for real Republicans to take it back. Looks like that’s happening in Ohio, where Senate Republican candidate Josh Mandel today saw 9 of his wife’s cousins take out an ad blasting his anti-gay stance. He married into the prominent Ratner family and their public letter said “your discriinatory stand violates these core values of our family.”
Horrah!! Hope it’s just the start of people pushing back. If we’re lucky, after tomorrow, the Tea Party will be disgraced, in shambles and out of office. Oh, what a Great Day that would be for America.
